  2. Hasta Utthasana – A raised arm pose – This asana boosts the energy level, and it refresh the entire body by raising the arms. It can be done on daily basis even if you are not yogi. It’s an upward salutation pose with Namaste Gesture of Hands.

  3. Hastapadasana – A standing forward bend pose – The word “Pada” means “feet” and “Hasta” means Hand. Being new yogi, you won’t be able to perform a perfect posture of the hastapadasana. In this posture head tough to the knee and hands touch to the under feet. Your body needs to have deep stretch to have the flexibility on this posture to fit. In the beginning only allow yourself as much only your body can do stretch the muscle. Listening to the body in the yoga is must. Avoid this asana if you are pregnant women and exploring the beginning of yoga practice during the pregnancy journey.

  4. Ashwa Sanchalasana – Equestrian Pose – “Ashwa” means horse and “Sanchala” means “stepping”. This asana will prepare our body to deep backend stretch. This also called balance posture. This asana is helpful in spine stretching (relief lower back pain), hips opening (help to reduce negative energy), Psoas flexibility (brings flexibility).

  5. Dundasana – The chaturanga dundasana is major component of Vinyasa, Power and Ashtanga yoga flow. It has many names like low plank, chaturanga yogasana, four limbed staff pose. Here, ‘Chatur’ means ‘four’, ‘anga’ means ‘limbs’, ‘danda’, is ‘staff or support’. This yoga asana allows to bring the strength in arms Muscles, wrists, and abdomen. A very helpful in women to have relief in periods cramps. 

  6. Ashtanga Namaskar – This Namaskar is very popular in Hindus. It’s a traditional way of greetings, bowing or paying respect to elders, in the temples, to the gurus. As per the name, in this asana we pay respect to the Hindu deity Sun. This also knows as Elight Limbed Pose of yoga. This asana brings flexibility in the spine which boost the brain its top.

  7. Bhujangasana – A cobra pose – This is my one of the most favorite asanas I do perform in daily practice. It improves the flexibility, in womens it helps to strengthen the reproductive system, it the message to abdominal organs. Bhujanga means “snake”. Thus, this posture also known as Corbasana.

  8. Adho mukha Savasana – This is the most popular yoga asana pose. It also known as downward facing dog pose. Again, this asana needs complete flexibility to perform full posture. It promotes the strong core, its very beneficial to improve flexibility, it opens the chest and lung capacity as well. It’s a best healing therapy pose in Yoga.

  9. Ashwa Sanchalasana – When we start the Sun salutation, we do perform with one leg in the beginning of the Aswa Sanchalasana. At this point we will perform the same asana with opposite leg as we are yet to complete the sun salutation.

  10. Hasta Padasana – As like Ashwa Sanchalasana, we also need to perform the Hasta Padasana to complete the Sun Salutation.

  11. Hasta Utthasana – Inhale, stretch arms up, and back in Hasta Utthasana yoga posture.

  12. Pranamasana. –  Again, a Prayer pose.
