First Trimester Pregnancy Yoga | List of Pre-natal Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga Benefits

     In today’s generation pregnancy is a very challenging thing to achieve especially post 30s. At a same time, pregnancy is a very beautiful and wonderful journey as women prepares to become a mother. The journey includes discomfort, huge hormonal changes and many more. Women are expected to go through a lot during these days.

    In this blog we will talk about some postures of yoga which can be done during the first trimester of the pregnancy. I am writing this blog basis on my own experience and my doctor has also allowed me as I am a yogi since many years. If you are a pregnant lady and doing pre natal yoga at home then before doing any of below yoga asanas, I would highly suggest to consult your doctor as pregnancy journey is different for each woman.

    During pregnancy, even being a yogi I was had a same question as like other women, is pregnancy yoga safe during pregnancy or not!? Well, it’s a safe to practice during pregnancy if we follow discipline and safety precaution during this delicate journey.  Below are the common list of  pre natal yoga poses which are safe to try during first trimester of the pregnancy. 

Marjariasana (Cat Pose) Yoga Asana during Pregnancy 

    This asana is also known as a cat pose or cat strength. The posture below imitates the stretching and bending of a cat. This parental yoga pose is safe to do during the pregnancy.

  • This yoga posture give relief in back pain as well during pregnancy.

Vrksasana Yoga Asana – Tree Pose for beginners while Pregnancy

A warrior Yoga Pose in Pregnancy

    This asana needs balance on one leg of our body. This asana is safe practice during the pregnancy to bring awareness and improving balance and alignment. This yoga asana also known as a tree posture yoga. 

  • During the pregnancy it is safe to do this yoga asana practice and use near a wall or with chair or wall support if you are new to yoga.

  • This tree yoga pose always promotes the balance, relaxation, concentration and mindfulness which helps in mental fluctuation during pregnancy.

  • This asana improves the posture of body and flexibility as well as.

  • It calms the nervous system.

How to do Vrikshasana yoga Prenatal tips? 

    Begin by standing in Samasthithi. Lift you right leg off the floor and balance your body weight on your left leg. Place your right foot on your lift inner thigh. Place it as close to your pelvis as possible. You may support your foot with your palms to bring it in place.

        As I said Pregnancy is a very beautiful journey but its very delicate journey as well. Each women's pregnancy is very unique. If you are a very new to yoga, Please do not do any yoga asanas without any consultation of doctors pregnancy during pregnancy.
